We provide phonetic reading support and other learning programs for students of all abilities and ages.
Phonetic reading is the process of sounding out words based on the way they look and how the letters work together. Since every letter represents a specific sound in speech, learning those sounds is an integral part of becoming a strong reader. But kids don’t always learn phonetic reading early in childhood, which can make it difficult to build upon reading skills.
At Academic Associates Learning Center, we understand the importance of phonetic reading, which is why it’s included in the learning programs we offer. By taking a one-on-one approach to learning support, we’re able to improve the reading skills of our students.
Our team includes experienced and certified teachers who enjoy working with students to help improve their outcomes. We provide phonetic reading support and other learning programs for students of all abilities and ages. In addition to phonetic reading, we also incorporate the other key components of reading, which are phonemic awareness, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. Our proven and tested program touches on all the processes, rules, and sounds of reading, starting with word attack skills and progressing to include proper reading habits and better comprehension.
We have two locations, including one in Mesquite, Texas. With years of experience in the industry, we’re confident in our ability to support beginning readers, students with disabilities, and those struggling with reading at any age. You can even bring accomplished readers to our center, helping them get an extra boost. If you have any questions about phonetic reading or the other elements of our educational programs, contact us today.
